Our chilled three days in Bacalar were made perfect by this hotel. The room was super clean, with fabulous air conditioning and a fan for added comfort. However, it was not very clean initially and being on the first floor meant some noise due to ongoing construction. The staff were some of the friendliest we've encountered during our 6-week trip, even if at times they seemed preoccupied. The location was really good, just a few minutes' walk to the main square and close to many amenities, although it lacked views of the laguna. The dining experience was delightful, with delicious options served every morning right in the hotel. Overall, a great stay with minor inconveniences.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were excessively empty, which was initially favorable, but unfortunately, mine was right above a construction zone with flaking paint and spider webs. However, the room itself was perfect for our relaxed three days in Bacalar, with excellent cleanliness, fantastic air conditioning, a fan, and a TV for convenience.
